Brilliant! Don't skip weeks because you think it's easy to begin with, I did this and ended up with aches and small injuries. Be patient and stick with it. Currently running 5k 3 times a week, I could barely run for 2mins when I started out.

This was a great app but sadly since going back to it there it's clear there is a serious flaw with vocal prompts not coming through when they should. This can mean you don't know when to start or stop running. Hopefully this is fixed but for now I will have to use an alternative app. UPDATE: bumping this to a 5 as I've resolved the issue via the battery optimisation settings. This is still the best couch to 5K app as far as I'm concerned and has successfully got me back into running again.

3 years since I installed this app, still running 3 times a week the way they taught me and I'm finally back to review. This isn't really a review to be honest - the app is superb, but this post is really to say a massive thank you to the developers - your app changed my life - and to offer some encouragement to anyone who is thinking about starting running today and is looking at this app - go for it, start small, stay consistent, give it the 9 weeks, you won't believe what you're capable of X

Tremendous app got me ready for a half marathon.

Simple, and I did use it through to the end, but found that notifications are way off often, or get skipped completely. Disappointing to get to the end and all you get is a "see you next time" message.

Glitchy and buggy

Carla Brown

Doesn't give the vocal prompt to run - constantly having to take it out my pocket to refresh the supposed always on screen. C'mon - get it sorted!

By far the best one available

This app is both motivating and forgiving. I am recovering from an injury. It is slow going but this app really helps me stay progressing at a gold speed.

I love the relaxedness of the instructions in this app. Keep on keeping on ;-)
